Anne Jane Grieve

Anne Jane Grieve is an Associate Consultant with MICA Learning at Knightsbridge in Toronto.

In addition to working with Knightsbridge, Anne Jane runs her own consulting firm specializing in qualitative research, innovation and leadership. Prior to joining Knightsbridge she was a Certified MICA consultant and trainer, facilitating Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats® and Lateral Thinking tools for over seven years with applications such as strategic planning, product development, process improvement, marketing strategy and other initiatives that required collaborative and breakthrough thinking. She has also been certified in the Management Research Group (MRG) LEA 360™ assessment and feedback process and the MRG Strategic Leadership Practices (SLP) management development series.

Anne Jane has fifteen years of consulting and training experience grounded in several sectors. Examples are: team development in health care, multi-year management development for the insurance industry, Six Thinking Hats® training for over 400 teams including the auto industry and the Department of National Defence, best practices in capacity-building projects, operational reviews for local governments, and coaching for small business. She also brings experience from Canada’s North in the facilitation of multi-stakeholder groups that bring industry, levels of government, and First Nations, Metis and Inuit organizations to the table for consultation.

Anne Jane is a graduate of the Royal Roads University Masters in Leadership and Training program and wrote her thesis on developing leadership capacity in Canada’s sub-arctic. She has also been trained by Dr. David Cooperider in Appreciative Inquiry and conducted extensive study with Robert Dilts in the application of Neuro-linguistic Programing (NLP) tools for systems thinking, modeling best practices and coaching. She is currently exploring the role of storied multimedia in modeling team and leadership excellence.
