Heather Wilkie, CMA

Heather Wilkie is an Associate Consultant with MICA Learning at Knightsbridge in Toronto.

In addition to working with Knightsbridge, Heather runs a consulting practice which focuses on financial planning for businesses and is a part time college professor. Prior to branching out on her own, Heather spent 15+ years in corporate finance roles where she was responsible for strategic planning, financial planning, reporting, and analysis in the telecommunications, retail, and distribution sectors.

Heather’s course facilitation is a natural extension of her corporate and teaching experiences. She believes that organizations are at the top of their game when they emphasize reaching non-financial goals in a fiscally responsible manner.

An engaging speaker, Heather has taught finance, accounting and management decision making courses for finance as well as non-finance professionals. Heather has also been sought after to talk about career development and work life balance. She is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement, delivering the Economics of Staying in School seminar to Grade 8 classes.

Heather’s education includes a Certified Management Accountant designation and an Honours Bachelor of Business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
