Carrol Suzuki is an Associate Consultant with MICA Learning at Knightsbridge in Toronto.
In addition to working with Knightsbridge, Carrol has run her own corporate training and coaching business in Toronto for close to twenty years. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Carrol led two highly successful leadership development divisions – Head Office, Canadian Tire Corporation and the London Health Sciences Center.
Carrol’s focus is to help business people achieve the results they are after through listening better. She is a highly experienced facilitator and professional coach with over 10 years of study and expertise within the art and science of listening. Clients who have worked with Carrol have enhanced their leadership capabilities, increased their promotability, smoothed out their workplace relationships, and improved their work performance and effectiveness through better listening.
Carrol has worked with organizations in a variety of sectors, including telecommunications, healthcare, financial, retail, pharmaceuticals, food processing, law, the social services, manufacturing and government. Her unique work has been highlighted in The Globe and Mail. She has written for choice, the magazine of professional coaching, and has presented at the Toronto Chapter of the International Coaches Federation and co-chaired one of their annual professional development conferences.
Carrol is a graduate of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto with an M. Ed. in Adult Education and Human Resources Development. She recently received her ACC (professional certification as a coach) with the Adler School of Professional Coaching and International Coach Federation.
