Geoff Curzon is an Associate Consultant with MICA Learning at Knightsbridge in Vancouver.
Prior to his work with Knightsbridge, Geoff spent seven years in corporate recruitment, partnering with organizations to meet their strategic human capital needs. Geoff led an in-house recruitment team for a fast-growing international company, and also operated as an independent consultant. In addition to his expertise in staffing and selection, Geoff spent a number of years in post-secondary education leading a wide range of initiatives to attract top student talent. He also partnered with employers to meet their staffing needs while working with student populations in both training and coaching capacities.
Geoff’s primary focus is on the skills and processes associated with building leadership capacity. He is an experienced facilitator and consultant in fields spanning interviewing and selection, interpersonal communication, personal productivity, supervisory skills, negotiation, strategic decision-making, creativity, collaboration, motivation and engagement, and leading change. Geoff excels in helping clients realize their leadership potential and enhance their interpersonal effectiveness. Geoff has also coached leaders up to and including the executive level.
Geoff has worked with organizations in a variety of sectors including utilities, high technology, petrochemicals, construction, consulting, social services, and government.
Geoff completed his undergraduate degree in Finance at the University of British Columbia and his Masters in Leadership at Royal Roads University. He also finished the Provincial Instructor Diploma program at Vancouver Community College and the Co-Active coaching program offered by the Coaches Training Institute. Geoff is qualified to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, the Strengths Deployment Inventory and Fierce Conversations®.
