Patti Thompson

Patti Thompson is an Associate Consultant with MICA Learning at Knightsbridge in Toronto.

In addition to her work with Knightsbridge, Patti runs her own Management and Leadership Consulting business in Toronto. She consults and coaches at senior levels in businesses across North America. In prior years she was on the management team at MICA Consulting Partners and ran the Creativity practice. She also held senior positions in marketing and advertising at Leo Burnett, Beecham, and Warner Lambert.

Patti’s focus is on helping maximize individual and team performance. She is an experienced facilitator, trainer, and consultant in the area of strategic planning, creative thinking, and leadership development. In her strategic consulting work she facilitates high outcome client interventions around problem solving, planning, and idea generation. She works with leaders in a coaching capacity to help them achieve performance goals.

Patti has worked with organizations in a variety of sectors including telecommunications, healthcare, financial, consumer goods, manufacturing, and government.

A sought-after presenter, Patti has facilitated at association retreats for groups such as PMAC (Pharmaceutical Manufactures of Canada) and CMA (Certified Management Accountants). She has also organized strategic conferences for clients such as General Mills, Merck, and MDS.

Patti is a graduate of Queen’s University School of Business. She has personally trained under Dr. Edward de Bono and is one of a few worldwide Master Trainers in his thinking methodologies. She is also certified in Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument, MRG’s LEA and SLP, Synectics, CPS, and is a CTI trained coach.
