Catharine Larkin is Managing Director with MICA Learning at Knightsbridge in Toronto.
Prior to joining Knightsbridge, Catharine spent 19 years with MICA as Managing Director of MICA McQuaig Larkin and latterly as President and Owner of MICA Consulting Partners. In her more than 25 years of experience working with many of Canada’s Fortune 100 companies, Catharine has developed deep expertise in transformational executive development through innovative and customized solutions. Her core expertise is in diagnosing the key issues that inhibit or enable executives and their teams to maximize performance. In this context she leverages her unique skills in facilitation, learning, coaching, succession planning, and assessment.
Catharine has worked in business and professional service firms throughout Canada, the United States, Asia and Europe. She counts among her clients leading organizations including: AVIVA, Bell Canada, Cineplex Entertainment, Coca-Cola Refreshment Canada, Fidelity, Fraser Milner Casgrain, International Financial Data Systems, McKinsey & Co., Ontario Power Generation and Women’s College Hospital.
Catharine holds degrees from the University of Toronto in languages, education and drama, and has studied at Laval University and Goethe Institute, Germany. For ten years she was an adjunct faculty member for non-degree HR and Leadership Development programs at the Rotman School of Business, University of Toronto, and is a volunteer at Women’s College Hospital.
Catharine is a co-author of “Type in Action” (February 2002), a comprehensive trainer’s guide designed as a multi-sensory approach to MBTI training in corporate and educational settings. Catharine is recognized as one of Canada’s leading C Suite Coaches and Advisors and as a thought leader with respect to learning and development.
